Version 1.5
Release Date:
2025-07-22
Changes:
This major release introduces AI-driven landmark detection for bodies, with a great improvement on the existing face detection. It allows you to automatically build basic skeletons for any human character mesh directly within Maya. The new AI tools can now be used as a standalone feature, without requiring a full Mesh Match setup, making them perfect for quick landmarking tasks or rig setup.
This new AI foundation paves the way for more advanced object detection features coming in future updates.
We’ve also significantly improved the user interface in several key tasks, improved the sampling process for high density meshes registration, and fixed a few UI related bugs.
- Implementation of AI body landmarks detection.
- Face landmarks detections is now much more accurate.
- Implementation of a skeleton auto build feature, for any body mesh (independant from registration).
- Support for the “Indie” license (with 10,000 points limit).
- Fixed pin widget display when changing layer to a lower value.
- Fixed pin widget display when switching first time from RBF to Weighted.
- Progress window is always brought to top and styled like the UI.
- Hitting esc key during registration compute sets the real iterations value where it has been stopped.
- Improvements on the sampling logic to dynamically adapt in function of points count.
- Implementation of a manual mode in order to be able to change multiple parameters with triggering the registration compute at each attribute change.
- The UI is now dockable like any other Maya element.
Version 1.6
Release Date:
2025-08-04
Changes:
- Fixed License Manager app that wasn’t opening in admin mode from Maya on Windows.
- Fixed progress window display that was randomly disappear.
- Fixed sliders behavior for pin pairs attributes that were triggering the compute during drag instead of on release.
- Fixed AI body landmarks vertices that were not selected after a detection.
- License in trial mode:
- Implemented a watermark system on the output meshes.
- License trial can now be manually ended, triggering the payout.
- The UI displays informations about the trial mode.
- Changed the license encryption algorithm.
